Sandtray Therapy is a creative therapy in which clients represent their personal world in symbolic form by working with objects in a sand-filled tray. Working in this way can powerfully enhance a client’s awareness and promote expression, exploration and resolution of a variety of issues.
Sandtray Courses
Introduction to Sandtray
An opportunity to discover and experiment with using Sandtray in your practice.
This course is aimed at professionally trained counsellors and psychotherapists, or counsellors in training.
One-day course, 9.30 am - 4.30 pm
6 hours of CPD
Cost: £125 (incl of VAT)
Deeper in the Sand
A follow-up course giving an opportunity for professionals already using the Sandtray to share what they have found effective and what they have found challenging.
The day will include opportunities to try further/different Sandtrays and to hear about some of the recent research and development.
One-day course, 9.30 am - 4.30 pm
6 hours of CPD
Cost: £125 (incl of VAT)
Therapeutic Sandtray Play with Children
This course is suitable for counsellors and non-counsellors. The training covers:
- Introduction to Sandtray work with children
- Using Sandtray to support emotional wellbeing
One-day course, 9.30 am - 3.30 pm
5 hours of CPD
Cost: £125 (incl of VAT)
